Gundam Suites are not all the same in this universe, some are mass produced and lack the quality control of the true Gundam. The GM was the mass produced version from the earth government. The earth government made the GM 2 and GM 3 and many more, these suites were the earth government’s solution and were the A-Team jeeps of the Gundam series as they were sure to go down in flames.
